For Borch Editions and Cassetta, we created this frame for a special edition of works by Danish artist Alexander Tovborg, originally created as illustrations for the Danish republishing of Dante’s Divine Comedy. The frame was made for 55 of these illustrations, all made as aquatinte and line etching in editions of 5.

The frame is self-standing and designed without a backside. Along the sides is a gilded detail, vaguely resembling a cross.

The project was a collaboration between Borch Editions, Cassetta and us.
