For the 2026 edition of 3 Days of Design we designed Tekla’s showcase of their new collection of quilts at the Banquet Hall at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts.

The installation consisted of large cabin-sized alcove beds with doors on each side, transforming it from a closed box into an open four poster bed.

All doors for the beds were made with patterns inspired by the traditional quilt patterns used in the collection, flipping the grain direction the same way strips of cloth are stitched together to create a geometric effect.
